The owner of Komline Consulting, Patti Komline, served in Vermont’s House of Representatives for 12 years. Serving in a number of leadership positions and, most recently as a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, Patti is able to use this valuable experience to help clients develop and implement successful strategies to meet their objectives.

With a long history of leading positive campaigns for change, Patti pushed a non-partisan agenda throughout her tenure, enabling her to earn the respect of all parties. She also successfully directed a statewide office holder's campaign to re-election twice. 

Through her work, Patti has created a strong network of colleagues in state government, businesses, and Vermont's communities. She understands what resonates with policy makers and community members so she can develop effective strategies, outreach, and collaboration to benefit her clients' needs.

Gabrielle Malina believes strongly in the power of government, private and nonprofit organizations working together to improve citizens’ lives.  She studied Cultural Anthropology at the University of Chicago.  After working for the Vermont General Assembly for many years, a passion for public service led Gabrielle to pursue a Masters in Public Administration at the University of Vermont. There she honed her knowledge in the areas of heath care, education policy, taxation and affordable housing.

Now Gabrielle brings her in-depth knowledge of the policy process to bear in the gratifying work of helping clients achieve their goals. Vermont is exemplary  in the way that all sectors work together for positive change in the public arena.

Gabrielle enjoys serving her community through citizen participation and municipal government. She serves as the Chair of the Revolving Loan Fund Committee, and is the local representative to the Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District.  She and her husband and three kids live in the beautiful and historic rolling farmland of Central Vermont. She loves bicycling, travel, Irish music, and flower and vegetable gardening.

 


After earning a degree in political science from the University of Vermont, Andrew Brewer spent the next 20+ years as the owner of one of Vermont’s most well-known outdoor businesses, Onion River Sports, in Montpelier.  While in that role, he initiated and supported many events and projects that brought people together, created a sense of community, and raised money for important public institutions like the library, the schools, and the food shelf.

With significant experience in community and business-related issues, Andrew’s input is often sought by business and policy leaders. He is a past participant on the Vermont Tax Commissioner’s Advisory Board, a Governor’s Health Care Business Advisory Panel, and a Speaker of the House’s Business Advisory Council.

Andrew has established strong connections with colleagues and policy makers from all political parties and understands the value of relationships when advocating for client’s goals.
